Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to go over my personal social media strategy for my music.
Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
My personal social media strategy for my music

One platform at a time: I think that it’s good to have multiple social media’s all at once. I personally think that you would be able to reach more people.
However, there is a problem with too many social media’s.
Each social media requires time and dedication to develop. Like say for example a blog. In technicality, you are supposed to put Videos, photos, and written content all in one blog post, that would be ideal.
But how difficult would it be to try and photoshop every single picture, edit every single video, and write a whole bunch of content all at once?
It’s doable but it would require a lot of time.
And they say that the most successful bloggers are the ones that blog every single day. Soo like, are you going to do that? Maybe if you were getting paid the big bucks to actually blog every single day, but only if then right!
I one time heard that the most successful bloggers actually blog about 6 hours every single day.
And though that’s what the professionals and successful people do, it’s really hard for almost any one of us to actually emulate that because almost none of us have the same amount of time to dedicate to something that might not work out.
Most of us have college, work, friends, family, children, etc. etc. so though it would be something that we would want to do, it is most likely something that we couldn’t be able to do.
And then on top of that, it would be recommended that we would get on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tik-Tok, etc. etc. I mean? What???!?!?!
How are we supposed to do that?
Tik-Tok videos take time to develop and edit, twitter takes all day to write something interesting, Facebook is a world of it’s own, and then you have to create music and put it on soundcloud and YouTube, and all of those things take time.
Which is the reason why I say that you should focus on one or maybe even two social media’s and develop them. Feed them, make them interesting and people will come.
I’ve personally started to use Facebook to promote my blog.
I put up a link to my website on my Facebook profile. I’ve put in tons of interesting, funny, educational things to make my profile more engageable.
I’ll be honest, I don’t have a lot of views and traffic on my profile, but people are commenting and saying things on my profile and it’s such a blessing. I just need to keep feeding the machine.
Also I need to keep putting up blog posts so that people keep coming back to it.
And that’s all that I’m focusing on right now.
Of course other than making music.
Right now, I actually think that my lyrics are my weakest aspect of my songwriting abilities so I’m focusing a lot on writing poems and lyrics. Right now I have about 150 fully completed and half completed songs in my phone so that counts as experience.
All while working my regular 9 – 5, I’ll be honest guys if you ever live the music life, you’ll never want to go back, it is so much fun!
