Update on the blog and a Lesson I learned while being a Christian musician!

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all the lessons I learned while being a Christian musician. 

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Ask God to guide us towards the right direction. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this. 

Now back to the show

First the update. 

So I’ve been mentioning that my friend has given me this great opportunity to actually do something really cool and good and will help this blog out tremendously. 

So in case I didn’t go into detail about what this opportunity is, let me say what it is. 

Basically what my friend has done is that he has put me into a computer science course.

And this course will actually get me certified in a computer programming language. This computer programming language is actually very hot right now and the starting pay for a job in this field is actually very good. 

I can actually get certified within a few weeks. 

But where does this leave the blog? I think I’m going to take a few weeks off of the blog because I really need to focus on this certification. 

I’m not too concerned about what it will do to my SEO because I believe that if God wants me to have something, then I will have something. 

Plus I already knew that this blog would take a long time for it to take off.

Also, I have been praying for God to provide for so many things in my life. And finally he is answering. Actually he answered last year because my friend actually gave me this opportunity last year. It’s just that I didn’t take it seriously and I really don’t know why. 

But I took it seriously this time and so far it is a blessing and a half!

I know I can complete it because I have prayed to God to help me to complete this certification. I asked God to help me to complete this certification because I really want a good job. 

Of course God knows that I want that. 

I was actually working on a few other IT certifications before I started this one, but I never completed them. I almost did it for ONE but then the textbook that I bought became really old and the applications didn’t apply anymore.

But right now I’m taking an online course and I’m doing a lot of independent study on the topics that they give me and if I just keep doing it, I know that I can complete it. 

So bad news is that I’m going to take a few days off of the blog in order to get this job. Good news is that with this new career I might be able to get a better blog site which will allow me to put up some great content, maybe add some pictures and videos and definitely put up songs on this site so that you can listen to.

Now onto the Lessons

The Lord gives wisdom to all who ask him for it. I have trusted in the Lord throughout all of my life and honestly if it wasn’t for him, I know for a fact that I would be dead. 

I remember looking back now at all of the mistakes that I did while growing up. All of the times that I wished I had listened to God instead of myself. 

All of the times that I wished I listened to the people who were in charge of my instead of my friends. I could’ve saved myself from a lot of pain. 

I remember back when I was a kid, my mom and dad wanted me to become a lawyer or doctor. 

However, when I started the music gig, they said, “No, you go and do the things that you want with music.” 

And honestly, that was God because I had been praying for God to bless my hands in music and sure enough he did. 

I know for a fact that it was God who was guiding my hands at all of the music things that I was doing. I know for a fact that it was God who was blessing my hands to do the impossible. 

So to all of you youngsters. I just have to say, Listen to God above all else. Love God with all your heart. Believe in him and make sure that he never goes away from your heart.
