Getting right with God!

Hey guys! So today, I just wanted to share with you guys something called getting right with God.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to get right with him. Ask God to convict our hearts to always follow him throughout all of our difficulties. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Getting right with God

So, over the past few months, I have actually started to go to church more often. The Lord gave me strength to start following him. 

And this is the 5th day where I have read my bible every single day. I think this is the 5th day where I have prayed every single day too. 

So God willing, I will continue this pattern for the rest of my life. 

But this happened just recently. 

So I want to point out a few things about why it’s so important that it happened just recently. 

Just recently, about two months ago, I had stopped blogging for a while.

I had also started to do some more Christian things on the side. I’m not going to share what I’m doing because that’s a little personal. 

And honestly, through a series of events, I started to consider looking for another job. 

***Side story- My dad needed some help out in the yard, we had to take a whole bunch of branches in our yard to the dump. So he asked me to go outside and help him, so I said okay! And there was a lot of work to do and we needed a chainsaw to do it. However for some reason it wasn’t working. And my dad was tring to fix it, meanwhile I had already started breaking down the branches and putting them in the van. And sure enough I almost completed putting in half of the branches because there were two piles. And my dad looked at me and said alright. And then after I went to work, he picked me up and asked me if I wanted to eat and I said sure. So we went to go get some carne asada. And he started telling me that I need to get into a trade. Or some other job. And I was confused. And so I finally said it, I said, “dad you really liked the way that I worked didn’t you?” and he said, “yeah I did.” and for some reason, that just lit a fire inside of me to go out and find a differnet job. I was also looking at getting certified in a computer programming certificate but it didn’t happen. 

So I’m left here with a fire inside and I started looking for jobs. 

And what I’m trying to get at is, I think God has me in the position that I’m in right now because he knew that I would start to put my determination into him if I was looking for a job, starting to blog again, and going to church on Wednesdays and Sundays in the mornings. 

And God knew that my mind would submit to him if I had experienced all of the things that I have experienced. 

So amen to the Lord for the Lord has been good. 

Let the Lord be the one who is victorious in my life for he has always been good. 

The Lord has been righteous throughout all of my difficult times. The Lord has never been wrong. The Lord has been holy throughout it all. Amen to the Lord.
