Hey everyone! So today, let’s talk about a Christian writing career and what is my reasoning behind it.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to guide us to his calling. Ask God to guide us to the call that he has asked for each of us to do. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

What is my calling?

So, it’s funny because I have heard so much talk about talent in my days that it’s kind of a blur as to what is and what isn’t talent.

I have heard that music is talent, I have heard that looking good is a talent, I have heard a wide array of things that would say what talent is.

Some people say, and I sort of agree with this, that there is no such thing as talent, it’s all hard work.

Some other people say, and I sort of agree on this too, that talent had to have come from God. that any talent that you have is a gift from the Lord.

And in a way it is true that it is a gift from God because you only receive things from one person and that person is God.

So like all of this to say that I have heard that your calling in life revolve around your talents and gifts. And I think that’s true in a way. God does use the talents that we have for his holy purposes.

At the same time, God could call us to do things that we are not qualified to do.

It all really is up to God.

So I feel like I have entered into a new stage of my life where I need to become a writer for Christianity.

There are a few particular reasons as to why,

My main reason is that God has set me in the position that I am in right now so that I can write freely.

I am in the position that I am in right now so that I can serve the Lord in a holy manner.

I don’t think I was called to be a preacher, but I do have a strong desire to share the gospel with the rest of the world. I do have a strong desire to serve God in this capacity.

And what better way than to write about it.

I remember in the bible it says, “hevel, everything is hevel.” and I understand it means that it’s vain. It’s a strong sort of vain.

But there is hope to it all.

God is the hope to it all. I mean like there is no purpose for really anything that we do unless it’s with God.

I mean, what does it matter if we save a million lives if we’re just going to die in the end? What is the purpose?

The purpose lies with God.

And honestly, that’s the comfort that I rest in.

I actually find peace knowing that my purpose lies with God.

I’ll be honest with you guys, sometimes it’s difficult for me to do things because I find no purpose in it.

And it’s not like I’m trying to be lazy, I actually pray to God to put conviction in my step so that I may work hard in it.

But really, it’s just too difficult sometimes because I feel like it’s just in vain.

Like, I really don’t care about a whole bunch of things unless it’s for God.

Which is the reason why I do a whole bunch of things, I am trying to glorify the Lord with the things that I do.  But honestly, it’s never enough. I just need to be constantly talking about the Lord honestly if I am going to be at peace. That would help me.

Which is the reason why I think that I am a Christian blogger, because by writing, I am doing the things that bring me the most fulfillment. And I know that it’s not in vain.
