Something is off.

Hey guys, before we get started on this blog post, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Ask God to guide us more towards him each and every day. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

A gift from God, or a curse from satan?

Back track to last year. 

Last year, I had a friend who is a Christian and he said to me this, “If you had to sin to get it, then it wasn’t from God.”

And I’ll be honest with you, I think that is absolutely true. I don’t think that it’s possible to sin and get something from God. God would never want you to sin. 

So like, I’m over here and honestly I’m thinking about all of the past things that I ever did. 

What were all of the things that I did in life?

Well I did music, but if I’m honest with you, I did sin to get music. To be the musician that I am today, I had to sin because that’s just the name of the game. 

I was once good at poker. Obviously that’s a sin and any money that I would’ve won would’ve been a curse.

I am a fast typer, but I’ll be honest, the way that I learned how to type was by typing on the internet comments and messages because I didn’t have a cell phone. 

I didn’t have a cell phone and like yeah I was forced to comment through messages on facebook and what not on the computer and let me tell you that none of those messages were good. So that was a sin.

I’ve had jobs after jobs after jobs, and if I’m honest, even though they weren’t illegal things that I was doing, I honestly still think that it was a sin to do a big chunk of those jobs. 

The reason why I call it sin is because they had me going in on church days and hours. I was told to do things against the bible, I was around non Christian people who cursed and said all sorts of immorality, I was even around a few parties where alcohol was present along with immoral music. And honestly, I knew that those places were not a place for me. 

I am a great pool player, but to be honest, if you really want to go out and play pool you need to go to bars and pool halls where gambling, alcohol, and drugs are ever prevalent. 

I currently play pool at a place where there is no alcohol, but even the other place where  I want to go and play pool has alcohol and it’s a kids place. 

I had to sin in order to become a music producer, I have to sin to become a better music producer. 

It’s just a lot of sin that I’ve done in my life that I think I have failed in realizing that I needed the bible all along. 

The bible says that the wise man considers the path where he is going. 

Where does it all lead?

Anyways, I see now that there are quite a few things that I need to fix in my life because I didn’t treat the blessings that the Lord gave me right.

I don’t think I’ve sinned to get this blog, but something needs to change about my music. 

About my whole attitude towards my music.

And I need to be strict with myself.

The paths of the Lord aren’t easy, but they are definitely worth it.
