It’s not a matter of I want more wisdom, I NEED more wisdom!

I need wisdom

Hey guys before we get started in this blog post, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this. 

Now back to the show

I need more wisdom

So what happens is that lately I have been praying for wisdom. And actually I have prayed for wisdom ever since I was a kid.

But I remember a time in my life where I said, “God, I think this is enough wisdom. And I don’t want anymore.”

There was a reason why I said that though.

I had read and understood myself that wisdom is good but there must be a sort of pain attached to wisdom. 

Like I’ll give you an example, it’s wise as a musician to understand that all you need to do in order to become a great musician is to practice. 

That’s intelligence.

But to apply that intelligence into your life means that you sacrifice a large portion of your life into music. 

It means that you can’t go out and hang out with your friends on a saturday night. 

It means not playing video games.

It means not being a jock. 

Because if you want to dedicate your work into something amazing and make it amazing, then you need to put a lot of work into it.

And that’s painful. 

But necessary. 

That’s wisdom. 

And I understand. 

Here is other wisdom, to know that God loves you with all his heart but there are consequences to our sins, it’s painful but understandable. 

So like, personally when I read that wisdom comes with pain, I just felt heartbroken because I will admit that I had prayed to God to make me a wise man. 

I had prayed to God to make me wise. 

And all throughout my life, I just see that the more wisdom I get, the more wisdom I need. 

And honestly, I can’t get by in life without more wisdom each day. 

So, I’ll be honest, I started praying to God to give me more wisdom about three years ago, a little before starting this blog. 

And I was reading the bible and getting certified in social media management. And for some reason, the stars just aligned, well the Lord blessed me with more wisdom. 

And I saw at that instance that the wisdom that the Lord has is more clear and more amazing than any other wisdom that the world could carry. 

And then I realized that I need more wisdom. And to this day, I still learn more amazing things each day.

Some of those things, honestly, I didn’t really pay attention to until today and some of those things you would agree are very simple to understand.

You want to hear something amazing? 

Just recently, I really started to understand the fact that people just have off days. 

Isn’t that amazing? 

I’m pretty sure some of you are like, “German, I learned that when I was a kid! How are you just learning about that now?”

Well to be honest with you, I don’t know what caused me to start doing this, but I started to pay attention to myself and how I act towards others. 

And I realized that I too have off days where I’m just angry at everyone and everything. 

And it’s nothing personal, it’s nothing against other people, no one did anything wrong, I’m just really cranky. 

And when I realized that, I started to say to myself, “My mom and dad were right all along, people do have off days.”

And the Lord opened my eyes to see that I too have been doing wrong. I judge people based off of their attitude towards me, while I do the same thing! Haha! 

I didn’t even realize it, but I was acting in a hypocritical manner. 

I was having off days and complaining about the fact that other people have off days. 

And literally, LITERALLY, I noticed that nothing bad happened in those days, I was just angry!! Haha!! 

Isn’t that amazing?

And I understood what my parents said all along about people, that people have off days and that’s perfectly fine. 

Just now I’m understanding that! And I’m trying to apply that to the rest of my life. I hope that God can help me to better understand people. 

And this is the reason why I say that I need more wisdom, because you never stop learning.
