Hey guys! Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to confide in him. Ask God to guide us more towards him each and every day. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
The hardest thing that a Christian musician could possibly accept

Actually what I think is the hardest thing should actually be the first thing that a Christian musician should accept into their lives.
The hardest thing that Christian musicians need to accept is the fact that music and ESPECIALLY Christian music, is a viable and completely acceptable way of making a living.
You know it’s funny.
Music is actually considered a trade.
And musicians actually make what a tradesman or tradeswoman makes.
And really the life of a musician is very similar to a tradesman. The fact is that we spend a few years working really hard on a project in hopes that we will be able to use those skills one day on our own and become self-sufficient.
It’s really not that hard to believe in because it’s very similar and is in fact a good way to make money.
Being in a trade is no different than being in music.
We work with our hands and we use the skills that we have to make something good.
I know I know, there is a lot of stigma regarding musicians and how they make money.
Some people say that they can’t make any money off of music. But really, who is saying that? Who are the people that say you can’t make money off of music? Because if you were to ask a musician who is IN FACT living that life, they would tell you that you can do it, it’s just hard work. Just like everything else in life.
So if music is just like everything else in life, why do you think that you can’t make money off of it?
I mean, people make money by playing video games, people make money by playing sports, why can those people pursue those careers and we can’t?
So I’m here to tell you that music is a completely viable and acceptable form of income.
What about Christian music?

Okay, I get it, you now are convinced that music is an acceptable and viable form of income.
Okay, but what about Christian music?
Honestly, if you are doubting the fact that Christian music can in FACT make money, I think you need some more maturity as a Christian first before you embark on a Christian music journey.
The reason is that if you want to serve God with your talents, how will God not provide for YOU when you are doing something holy?
That is COMPLETELY against God.
Do you think that God is evil towards those that serve him?
Do you think that God doesn’t know the desires of your heart?
God knows that you might have the intentions of making millions of your music, or he might think that you have the intentions of living a good life with a wife, kids, a house, and a couple of cars. I get it, and more importantly GOD gets it.
But you have to be able to trust in God that God will be the one to provide for your needs when you go through this.
You have to be able to trust in him for the simple fact that you are trying to worship him and you have to trust that God will be good to you for your hard work.
It’s just that simple.
Some might say, “God will only reward you in heaven for the work that you do.”
Do you think that God is imperfect?
Is that what it is?
Do you think that God doesn’t understand your needs? God understands more than anything that we could ever imagine.
I’ll put it simple, God knows it’s bad when someone is homeless, God knows it’s bad when someone is hungry, God knows it’s bad when someone can’t provide for themselves or their family, or have clothes or have the things that they need or even want.
God knows that’s NOT good.
And don’t we call God the GOOD FATHER?
So if he is the Good Father, would it make sense to believe that he will provide a home, food, clothes, provide for that person because that person is in FACT trying their best to worship him. We have trust in God that God is good to those that love him. We have trust in that. And you should trust that too
I should trust that too.
