Have you ever had surgery? What for?
Hey guys! Let’s have a moment of silence first before we get into this blog post.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray.
Now back to the show.
The Lord opened the eyes of my heart
Personally, I’ve never had physical surgery before other than a minor surgery but that was so minor that I was awake the whole time!
Anyways, the surgery that I’m talking about is a special type of surgery that only God could have done it.
What happens is that I did not see the error in my ways before. I did not see the wrong that I was doing. Until one day. The Lord was gracious to me and showed me why I needed him so badly. And I understood at that moment that my eyes were opened and I needed to have more of God in my life.
The surgery, was a heart surgery.
The Lord operated on my heart and gave me life. I was in dire circumstances and the Lord was holy and decided to help me to live. The Lord was good. The Lord was righteous.
I still remember all of the things that I thought were true. I can still remember all of the things that I thought were absolute. I didn’t realize that the only reason why I was who I was, was because of God. And now I see that the Lord is the reason why I am the way I am.
Thank you Lord for operating on my heart and putting life in me. I would be dead without you.
