Hey everyone! Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to work really hard. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

Ahh marketing, you don’t like it, but you can’t live without it.

I one time was in a marketing position and a sales guy came up to me and said, “Sales is in everything and what you’re doing is such a valuable skill.”

And it was marketing.

It borderlines sales and has a lot of the same sales techniques as salesman, but it’s sales.

And I know what it’s like to be in sales.

It’s uncomfortable, it’s embarrassing, it’s downright horrendous having being told no. Yet, it’s such a vital role in the customer service experience.

And the salesman does a job where they help people find solutions using the product that they have to offer.

Marketing, is finding people to sell to.

Marketing is basically going out and looking for people who would like what you have to offer.

So with that in mind, I just want to say that it’s not as bad to do internet marketing as to do in person marketing. It’s still a little embarrassing because you need to create content which people will ultimately judge, it’s just how it is.

But you do so in a way that reaches out to the correct audiences.

It’s still a little awkward because you have to learn a few different skills than what you’re used to. But, it’s completely worth it.

Just remember internet marketing is 99% perspiration 1% skills and knowledge, and 100% God.
