What are some things I should be doing right now to jumpstart my Christian music career?

Hey guys! It’s German again. Before we get started on this blog post, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to work hard at the things that we do.

Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Things I should be doing right now to jumpstart my Christian music career.

So if you’re an awesome musician, you might be looking to start a music career of your own.

It’s understandable and more doable today than ever before.

Back in the day, you really needed to perform thousands of shows left and right in order to really create a fan base big enough to sell albums to.

And to a degree it’s still relevant today.

However, today, there are so many more tools available to share the message of your song. You’re not confined to just one area of the world.

Therefore, we should really make a plan to make and sell music to the world.

Here are some tips on what you should do right now to start your music career.

1. Make a plan

I personally had a plan for a long time on how I was going to make my music dreams a reality.

My plan was to get big on a blog or YouTube, make songs on the side, and then just wait it out for a few years until I actually start selling albums.

But keep in mind that the fact that I could make music is years and almost a lifetime of work in the making.

I didn’t wake up as a great guitar player.

And so, you have to keep in mind that it took a lot of time to get to where I’m at today. It was difficult, but sure enough it is going to be worth it.

2. Make a ton of songs

This goes without say, but as a songwriter, you’ll be expected to write songs

And the only way that you’ll get good at writing songs is by making songs.

As a songwriter, the way that you perform is by writing the best songs you could possibly imagine.

And you have to become EXCELLENT at doing it in order to sell out albums and concerts.

So get to writing

Lastly, be patient. I know it’s difficult having to wait on the good things in life. But the good things in life take time to achieve. It’s difficult but yes it’s doable.
