Why is Christianity so popular that it makes people want to die for Jesus?

Why is Christianity so popular?

Christianity isn’t really all that popular.

You might say, “but German you are Christian, how can you say that Christianity isn’t popular?”

Well because you have to understand a few things.

First, when the census is taken to account for all of the Christians that there are in the country, anyone within their right mind can say that they are Christian.

However, are they really?

Because I notice that people love the idea of Christmas and Jesus being born.

People love the idea of Easter bunnies and chocolates.

But when it comes down to having a relationship with God. There aren’t that many people who will chase after him.

People love the idea of Jesus as a healer. But they don’t love the topic of sin or why Jesus came down in the first place.

It’s kind of like saying you’re a musician.

Are you a musician if you played the guitar once or twice, maybe, but a serious musician who has played for years and dedicated their life to music will say no.

So it’s not really popular because people don’t want to accept the whole idea of Christianity.

I’m not bashing against anyone. And I understand your viewpoints when you like church for tradition reasons. But God is so much more than that. I pray that you may not think that I’m judging you. I completely understand why you think that way, I once was like that too.

But I grew up, and I saw that Jesus is so much more than tradition.

I pray that you might take comfort in these words because everyone has done it before, don’t feel ashamed.

Just have more faith in God than in me.

What about those people in the parts of the world where Christianity is illegal?

That is a blessing from God.

When people are persecuted for righteousness sake, that’s God who is enacting right there.

But you have to understand that it’s the minority in those countries.

I remember I once heard a story from China. About how Christians were sent to jail for 3 years if they are caught being Christian.

And the thing is that in a small room, there fit around 10 people from far away places in china sitting down just to worship the Lord.

And that is a big testimony that those people want to serve God.

However, it shows just how many people actually want to be Christian. It was a small minority that got people to actually listen to what the Bible says.

So yeah.

Now you might be wondering about us as real Christians

I think I put this in another blog post and it said, “The reality is that it just makes sense.”

It really does make sense to be Christian.

Because by being a Christian, we are gaining forgiveness from God for all of the evil that we’ve ever committed, I mean who doesn’t want to be forgiven for their sins?

On top of that, God also has beautiful things for us on earth and in heaven.

I mean, God could provide for all of your needs. He could provide for your trip to heaven. And guess what? It’s easier to be a Christian than it is to be a sinner.

One time, I was with my mom and I asked her, “Mom why is it so hard to be a Christian?” And she said, “It might be hard to be a Christian, but it’s way harder to be a sinner.”

And I carry that, and I keep that everywhere I go.

Because in all reality, the Lord’s way is easier, it’s lighter, it’s a burden that you can carry. And at the end, you will lay down that burden and the Lord will lift you up into heaven. Yes my dear, being Christian just makes sense
