My favorite genre of Christian music

What is your favorite genre of music?

Hey guys! Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

My favorite genre of Christian music is really hard to say.

I have always been a fan of rock

However I did have a rap and hip-hop phase in my life.

I have been influenced by all sorts of genres and styles of music from all sorts of different backgrounds.

But ultimately, my favorite genre of music has to be any music that truly worships the Lord.

Cause what happens is that sometimes I feel like Christian music, though good and has good intentions, doesn’t do what it was originally designed to do and that is to worship the Lord through song.

I feel like sometimes it’s too earthly and that it needs more of the Lord in it.

It’s nothing wrong with the music and in some circumstances I feel like it would be completely appropriate to have it.

But to me, music should be used to worship the Lord.
