Hey guys! Before we get started, let’s have a moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to love him with all our hearts. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

Some practical advice

Before I get into the practical advice, I just want to share a few bits of wisdom that revolves around God.

First is that the musician career is something beautiful.

The musician career is a blessing from the Lord.

Understand that the Lord has all sorts of things at his disposal to allow us to succeed and really it all revolves around his wisdom.

So remember that the wisdom of the Lord is the one that comes first before anything in life.

Without further ado, here is some practical advice

Treat it as a trade

In a trade, you don’t exactly need a college diploma.

In a trade, what you need is a high school diploma and the willingness to learn.

That’s all that you need. And sure enough, you can get certified in a few certificates online that would help your progress as a musician.

The certificates are relatively cheap, and the experience is incomparable to what you need.

Also, In a trade, you will spend some time working without pay or little pay. But it’s okay because the skills you need are more valuable than the money. So be patient with yourself and don’t give up. It will take a few years of solid work to get the things that you want.

Be happy!

I remember back when I was in college and working. I loved the idea of being in college and working and I was just thrilled at that fact.

I was thrilled!

Well right now, I’m working on this blog, working a job, and fighting to be the best person that I can be. I want to get back into college, but we’ll see.

I want to make my music life successful at the same time, I have a lot of dreams to be honest with you.

But it will be the Lord who gives me my dreams.

Don’t forget to write songs

It’s important that we are constantly writing about God because that will help us to develop great lyrics.

We must write songs on a consistent basis because that will be our main money maker in life.

Don’t be scared to take chances

I remember I once put my music on ITunes, it wasn’t Christian music, but I put my music on ITunes and it’s been there for a while.

It actually took a lot of nerve in order for me to release music through ITunes because I was scared about what people would say about me. I thought people would criticize me.

But I got older and then I just didn’t care anymore.

And that’s how you should be too, just don’t care about what the world thinks because the world will do what it wants but we are worshipping the Lord so it doesn’t matter.
