Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all what you should release first, your album or your single.

Before we get started today, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the  show

What should I release first, my album or single?

Well everyone knows that the conventional way to release music is to release your single that’s going to kick off your album first and then release your album a few months after that.

Maybe release a music video with that as well.

But actually there are a lot of independent musicians out there that say that you should release your album first.

The reason why is because as an independent musician, you’ve already built up some hype around your music.

Whether that be through your blog or through your YouTube channel or whatever it is, you’ve most likely already built up some hype around your album.

Which is the reason why there are a lot of independent musicians out there that say that you need to release an album first.

But what do I say?

What do I say?

I say you need to release whatever you want to release.

There’s a reason why.

When you start publishing your music independently, it doesn’t really matter what you release first because the main objective would be to just release music.

Just start getting those songs out there because when you start releasing your music, that’s when you’ll be seeing a huge impact in your music career.

Keep in mind that this is after the fact that you’ve already built up a big skillset with music.

So like you can’t be a complete newbie to the music scene. You can’t be completely new to music. You really have to be a professional musician to get into it.

But anyways, just start releasing music and if you find out later that those songs weren’t the best songs you ever released, well just keep in mind that everyone had their flukes in the music business. No one had a perfect music career.

You still have to build a hype around your music, so make sure to do so with your blog or social medias.
