What should I include in my music blog?

Hey everyone! Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the musician that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this. 

Now back to the show. 

What should I include in my music blog?

When you start out

So I feel like there are actually stages to a music blog. 

And in each of those stages you should include different things in the blog. 

The first stage of a music blog is when you start out. At this point in time, I believe that the only thing that you should include in your music blog is just content. 

Just start putting out content on the blog because at this point in time, the content is more important than anything else in your blogging world. You need to start ranking in google and the only way that you’ll do that is by putting up content. 

Also, don’t stress too much about having high quality content at this time, especially if you’re a beginner blogger, because the odds are that you’re not going to have good content.

And at least for a little bit if you’re a new blogger, you’re going to come out with a whole mess of bad content. 

Maybe not for long, but there will be bad posts that you’re going to put up and you shouldn’t stress too much about it because it kind of needs to happen. 

Now this content can take the form of blog articles or pictures and videos, to be honest with you, whatever you feel is easiest for you I would do it because it is rather difficult to start a blog and make it succeed. 

So you should give yourself as much of a break as you possibly can.

If you’re really good at writing articles, then write away. But if you’re really good at making videos, make a whole bunch of videos! It doesn’t bother me!

Just make sure that you’re always writing because writing alone will help your SEO in the long run. 

Later in your blogging career

Later on down the road you can start to worry about sponsorships or affiliate links. 

In reality, that stuff might be on your mind from the beginning but don’t let it consume you because there is a saying in the music industry and I think it applies to a lot of aspects in life. 

If you are only interested in the money, you’ll never make it. 

There’s a reason why.

And actually just recently I understood it. 

There is a study that shows that if you tried to pay people 1,000,000 dollars to do a really difficult task, the study shows that people still wouldn’t do it. 

Why? Because money is not a good enough reason for people to do something. 

There has to be something far greater than money to get you to do something. 

Us as Christian’s don’t have to worry too much about that motivation because our motivation is the Lord. 

The Lord is the reason why we work hard and it’s actually the biggest reason anyone can have.
