Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all my main method for promoting an album. Keep in mind it’s not the only way to promote an album and actually I would encourage you to go out there and experiment with different ways to promote an album. But I’m just letting you know that this is my main method for promoting an album.

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to be. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

My main method for promoting an album

So really there are quite a few different and completely logical ways to promote your album.

And depending on what you’re trying to do, you will do different things.

Some people prefer to promote their music through live venues. What they’ll do is that they will make their own tour and go around the city and play at all the venues within the city. This would actually bring a lot of attention to the artist locally.

But you could also promote through the radio. There are radio stations out there that still accept unsolicited material. Even though music streaming is a big thing nowadays, radio promotion still remains a relevant factor in promoting an album.

\ The reason why is because it still remains one of the only ways that people can listen to new music.

Often times when people go to streaming platforms, they are listening to the music that they already listen to, in other music that’s not the budding music artist.

But what about my method?

My method

My method for promoting music is a little slower than other people’s methods but to be honest with you, I think that it’s the best.

What I like to do and in reality what other musicians do too, it’s just not as extreme, is that I build up a hype around my music first before I release it.

It’s actually what you’re supposed to do regardless of where you are at in your music career.

The reason why is because if you get people talking about your music, you stand a better chance at succeeding at releasing your music than if you do without it.

And the way you do it is by talking about your album on your blog or YouTube channel.

And make sure that you really hype the album up.
