Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some biblical songs that you have to hear. The reason why I say biblical songs is because not every Christian song is biblical. Some talk about topics that are indeed important, however, they’re not talking about anything biblical. So, I wanted to share with you all some biblical songs that you must hear because these are the types of songs that I want to make for my albums.
Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the person that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
Biblical songs you must hear.
Salvation is here
You know it’s funny, because I didn’t understand why this song was called Salvation is here until a few Sundays ago.
What happened was that my pastor was explaining what Salvation was and how it pertains to us.
And he came to the conclusion that Salvation is a person and that person is Jesus Christ.
And I didn’t understand why this song was called Salvation is here and I didn’t understand some of the Lyrics until a few sundays ago.
That Salvation is the person of Jesus Christ.
And then I was overwhelmed with emotion because all this time, I had been singing the name of Jesus when I was singing that song.
And to this day, that song still brings a tear to my eyes because it is so powerful.
That song is so powerful and I just can’t help but to be overwhelmed with emotion whenever I hear it.
Some of the lyrics go like, “Cause I know my God saved the day and I know his word never fails and I know my God made a way for me. Salvation is here.”
You need to hear that song because it is so powerful. I prefer the Lincoln Brewster version.
Lord I lift your name on high
I have sung this song at every church that I’ve ever been to.
I have sung, “Lord I lift your name on high, Lord I love to sing your praises, I’m so glad you’re in my life, I’m so glad you came to save us. You came from heaven to earth, to show the way, from the earth to the cross, my debt to pay, from the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky, Lord I lift your name on high.”
That song hits me so hard because then I start to think of all the sacrifices that Jesus did in order to come and save me.
Jesus came from his holy throne in heaven, and came down to be so humble and die a death that he did not deserve to die.
And this song just reminds me of how much love the Lord has for me.
No matter what by Karie Jobe
The last song that I’m going to share with you all is the song called no matter what by Karie Jobe.
What happens is that I just recently heard this song. My mom was jamming out to it in the car one of these days and I thought that it was so biblical.
It literally states the lesson that is said in Job in just a few sentences.
It states, “No matter what, I’m going to love you, and no matter what, I’m going to need you, and I know that you can save me from the pain but if not, if not, I’ll trust you, no matter what.”
That’s the kind of attitude that we need to have towards the Lord. and it’s such a biblical passage and such a biblical attitude and I just love the way it’s sung it’s so powerful, you need to check it out.
