Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share some marketing strategies for Christian musicians. I would just like to add that this is not going to be another one of those blog posts where I preach about blogging consistently, even though that should be a priority in your marketing plan. This time, I’m going to cover some more strategies to get you going on the right track.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us in our music journeys. Ask God to guide us no matter the situation. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

So there’s a lot to be said about marketing strategies.

Oftentimes when we go to a bank for a business and we would like to ask for a loan, the bank is going to ask us, what is our marketing strategy and our business plan.

Sometimes they will request a copy of the business plan.

I know personally of how some of my friend’s bands are currently legitimate companies that have an llc and all of that.

So if you would like to have a business for music, it’s important to treat it as such.

Understand that there is no marketing strategy in the world that’s going to guarantee a lot of money right from the start. I mean unless you were to advertise thousands of dollars.

But most of the time when we’re musicians, and young musicians at that, we will often not have that kind of money at our disposal.

When we’re young musicians, we will have our work ethic to rely upon.

And believe it or not it’s really all we need.

If we have the work ethic to make a dream a reality, the dream will come true.

So, you can google different business marketing strategies out there, but that’s not necessary because you already know what you’re supposed to do and that’s to put up blog posts and YouTube videos.

It does take a long time to get views this way, but it’s the good way to do things.

The long and patient way to get something is almost always better than anything else that we are supposed to do.

So just be patient and you will get the things that you need and want.

Here is a link to wordpress.com’s method for getting more blog views, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend that you read this article and really use the materials that are in it because the techniques to make your blog successful are free and the article is free and it is so awesome to know that you can get a successful blog if you just put in the work.

Now, I personally trust this website a lot. I have seen a lot of other credible people on the internet talk the same things that are on this blog post.

I know that it’s going to start off slow. I know that you’re not going to get a lot of views at first, that’s how I was when I first started, but 2 and a half years later, Right now I’m averaging 40 views a day.

That is 1,200 views a month and it’s only going to get better.

I didn’t start off with a whole lot of friends on Facebook, or a large Twitter following.

I started off with little to no views for the first like year and then in the second year I started receiving hundreds of views a month, and then finally this year in this past July, I got 582 views to my site. And this month on the 5th of this month, I already have 195 views to my site this month.

So yeah, it does take time, and it does take effort, but what’s a few years compared to the life that you could have?

Here is another blog post, this time by American Express.

They have similarities in the WordPress post.
