For in all toil, there is profit

Hey everyone today, I’m going to start a new time in my blog.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to guide us. Ask God to guide us to be the representative of his word that we know we should be. Ask God to move our hearts and our minds to always work as if though we are working for him. 

Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

In all toil, there is profit

So what happens is that lately, I’ve had some time to reflect on myself. 

I take some time to reflect on myself and really be the person that I ought to be. 

And what happens is that I was writing in my blog and really researching what I was going to write about. And I thought about something that I’m convicted of. 

That thing is work. 

Let’s talk about it a little bit. 

Work

There are many instances in the bible where it says that we are to work hard. We need to work hard so that the Lord may be glorified. 

The bible says that the righteous person is the hard worker. 

It says that the person who has a slack hand will be servant to the one who deals righteously. 

It states a lot of things in the bible about work. 

And you know, thinking about it now, I was pretty good at some of the jobs that I had in the past, however, I wasn’t working to my full potential. 

I was working hard alright, but was I working to the level in which God wanted me to work? 

The answer is no, I wasn’t.

And looking back now, I am convicted in my heart about how I was working hard, but not at the level that God wanted me to work. 

And so God has lit a fire inside of me now. To work hard. 

The Lord has lit a fire inside of me to work hard at all of the things that I do. Currently, one of those things is to blog. 

The Lord has convicted my heart ot blog so hard, and right now, I think this is the third blog post of today, I think I’m going to try and write around 7 or 10 blog posts today. 

Whichever one takes me into the night. 

I want to work hard towards what the Lord wants me to do. 

I pray that the Lord will continue to move me and strengthen my hands to work hard.
