How to be a successful blogger

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some key concepts on how to be a successful blogger.

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the bloggers that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

How to be a successful blogger?

You guys know me, everything to me needs to start and end with God. So that’s the first step in anything.

However, I also want to share some practical tips to actually becoming successful at blogging. 

It doesn’t matter what you are: doctor, lawyer, real estate agent, construction business owner, etc. etc. 

If you are looking to get more clients or to expand your reach to people, than a blog is a great way to do so. 

So without further ado, let’s talk about it. 

Hear me out… create content

So I don’t think that you guys understand how powerful creating content is and why it’s so important for your blog. 

What happens is that when you create a blog, google and bing and all sorts of other search engines immediately begin crawling your website with little robots. 

And honestly they are just trying to see if you are a trustworthy source or not. 

So they will look at key metrics which google will not tell us. 

However, they do say that if you just write good content for a long period of time, then google will have no problem putting you higher in search results.

Part of the key metrics that your blog needs to achieve is a length of time that your blog has been running. 

So sometimes your blog would need to be up for 4 years or 2 but the majority will fall between that time frame. 

It can take longer though. Just depends on you. 

But the number one thing that you need to do is to create more good content. 

Get it registered on google search console

So if you register your blog on google search console AFTER you’ve made a good chunk of blog posts, maybe say a hundred, it CAN help you to raise in the ranks higher at a faster pace. 

However, some content management systems like WordPress and Wix, say that they handle those things for you. They still have the settings for you to do it manually, which is what I did, so you do what you want to do. 

It did help me though. 

Lastly, share with your friends

If you’ve got a good friend following on your Facebook or X account or whatever social madia you use, it will help you to gain traction faster. 

After all, the more views you get, the more views you WILL get.
