Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some cool tips on how to take full advantage of the internet as a Christian.
Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our days. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
How I use the internet to my advantage as a Christian
So what happens is that the internet is a tricky thing.
On one hand you can communicate with the world what you want to say, and on the other hand, there is TOO much information being spread.
And we as Christians must be careful with what we read and see on the internet because some things glorify God and others do not.
And there are a lot of false prophets that are in the world today using the internet.
So, how can we use the internet as a powerful tool to glorify the Lord?
Here is my answer
I google up scripture
Google is a powerful resource in which you can literally look up almost anything that you want.
And google can be used to find scripture.
Instead of looking for teachings from other people, I use the internet to find scripture that is biblically sound.
I literally google up phrases in bible verses if I remember portions of the verse but can’t remember the whole verse and it finds it for me.
I also will sometimes just google, “bible verses about salvation” and it will give me bible verses that I can study.
Not literally bible verses about salvation but bible verses about (fill in what you’re trying to say here).
The reason why I do this is because I don’t want a wrong teaching to get into my head.
I am very secure about what I read and where I go, so I look for things that are from the bible rather from what man teaches.
There are a few teachers though that I sometimes read from.
However, I’ve known about these teachers from my own pastor who recommended them to me.
But for the most part, I just stick to the bible.
