Focus on your craft!

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some tips on what you should do as a musician.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to guide us throughout all of the tough times. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Focus on your craft

There are many aspects of songwriting and producing music and to be honest with you, it’s almost impossible to focus on all of the aspects and become a millionaire by 25.

So if you would like, try and focus on a few aspects of your craft, whether that’s songwriting, producing, performing, etc.etc.

Have you ever heard the 10,000 hour rule? They say that if you spend 10,000 hours doing one thing, then you’ve become a professional at it.

Well how is someone supposed to spend 10,000 hours producing, songwriting, performing, etc. etc. it’s just not possible. And even though there are some people out there who do it, it’s very difficult to do so because of all of the experience you need to do it.

So if it were me, I would really dig not what I really want to do. There are some people who really appreciate mixing alone, others appreciate producing, some love to write songs, so don’t feel like you’re all left out just because you like to do something that “doesn’t get the spotlight.”

Remember that marketing is just as important as the next aspect of music .

So be sure to make videos and write in your blog every day, and you should be just fine.
