Hey guys! Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to always seek him. Ask God to make us more holy each day. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

You can have your heart’s desires, as long as it’s with God.

So what happens is that I was really pondering those words that Jesus spoke in the gospels.

John 15:7 states, “If ye abide in me, and I abide in you, then ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you.”

And I really started to think about that verse and I was wondering what exactly does that mean?

And so I kept on reading the bible and I found another verse.

Psalm 37:4 states, “Delight thyself also in the Lord, and he shall give you the desires of your heart.”

And I thought to myself, “This is too much of a coincidence. In two instances, both in the Old Testament and the New Testament, does the bible say that God will give us the desires of our heart as long as we are with him.

But what does that mean?

Well, let’s look at some of the things that God might want us to have.

First, God would want us to have a house, a spouse, kids, our food, our clothes, wisdom, strength, health, talents, knowledge, friends, love, patience, kindness, endurance, but above all else, God would want us to be holy and to be his children.

So with those things in mind, it’s okay to ask God for money, it’s okay to ask God for a house, a car, work, but we have to understand that materialistic things, are only temporary, what we should ask MORE than these materialistic things, is to ask God to make us holy. Ask God to make us his children and to put holiness inside of us.

Ask God to give us prayers that are holy and to make our words holy.

Ask God to sanctify our whole life because even though money and materialistic things are fun, it’s not going to matter on God’s judgment day.

Honestly, right now, I see myself obtaining riches over the next few years. And I’ll be honest with you, It was God who did it.

And I’ll tell you the prayers that I prayed for, so that God could bless me with money.

I prayed, “God, Forgive me for I am a sinner, I need your help to do everything in life. From obtaining a wife, to obtaining a job, to having good things in my life. I need you. Lord I ask that you may bless me with riches. However, Lord I do not want to be a rich man of this world. I want to be a holy rich man. Lord, make me a holy rich man. Let me use my riches for the edification of your kingdom. To grow your kingdom. Let me not forget you on the day that I succeed. Lord, give me strength to give to the poor and grow your kingdom with the power and riches that you give me. Lord help me to keep my eyes on you and keep me holy throughout this entire journey. Lord, let it be for your glory that I become rich. In Jesus name I pray, amen.”

IT”S SUPER IMPORTANT that you pray for these things.

There’s a reason why.

First off, if we were to obtain our riches somehow, we have to understand that those riches did not come from us. Those riches came from the Lord. The Lord has decided to bless you with riches.

And so you have to understand that, that money is not to be used vainly. IF something comes from the Lord, you have to use it for his holiness.

Now I’m not saying that we can’t have nice things. I mean if you ever get to the point where you have enough money to buy Lamborghini’s and mansions, go ahead buy them, but not vainly.

Don’t make it your sole objective to buy a Lamborghini, Instead use your resources to build God’s kingdom and whatever the Lord has left responsible to you for your enjoyment, go ahead and enjoy it.

***If you don’t have faith to believe that God can do this, pray to God to give you faith that moves mountains, and trust me that he will give you immense faith.
