How can I write songs when my schedule is so busy?

Hey everyone, So today, I’m going to give you guys some practical tips on how to write songs when you are so busy.

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our lives. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

How can I write songs when my schedule is so busy?

In reality there are a few solutions that would actually give you a good result in the end. 

However, they all revolved around the same core principles.

Now I know that I often give my best solution and that’s to always include God in your plans. 

And you guys have heard me say that God is the answer to all of your problems. And in reality, he really is the answer to all of your problems. 

That includes the solution to the time that you have to give to write your songs. 

Instead of worrying about what time you’re going to write songs, why don’t you worry about how fervent your prayer life needs to be in order to obtain that time to write your songs. 

So pray to God to give you time to write songs and that is your first step in obtaining the time to write your songs.

The next step

If you really want to do something, you will go out of your way to do it. So don’t be concerned so much with not having enough time, but focus on if it’s something that you really want to do. 

Let’s be honest, if you really are interested in something, you will literally go out there and make it happen.

Is that right? 

You know that’s right. 

So if you aren’t really interested in making it happen, you won’t go out there and make it happen.

Now that comes with a little bit of a caveat. 

Everything requires hard work. 

So there are going to be times when you’re songwriting that you’re just not going to want to keep songwriting, but you as a songwriter needs to keep pushing and working hard at making your songs sound better.

Work on making your lyrics more dynamic and diverse and yes there are going to be times when you just feel like giving up, but once you start something, go ahead and finish it!
