Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how to start producing music.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the musicians that he wants us to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

How to start producing music?

Really it’s not all that hard for a musician that already knows music.

The first thing that you should do is to make sure that you’re a musician. The reason for this is because there are a lot of music basics that need to be taken into consideration before you go out there and start producing music.

Like, you should be able to keep beat and have a dynamic sense of rhythm at your disposal because those talents will be called upon.

Even if you don’t use all of your unique talents all in one day, you will use them throughout the course of work week or a month or even a year.

And if you haven’t spent time working on your music on your own, then it’s really not worth going into it because you need to have a lot of foundations under your belt.

So after you’ve spent a few years being a musician, then it’s time to start focusing on your production career.

The first thing that you should do is to focus on whatever it is that you can get your hands on.

Your first DAW shouldn’t be something that breaks the bank, your first DAW should be something that suits your needs and also has a little wiggle room to play around and improve your sound on.

In case you guys don’t know what a DAW is, it’s the software that music producers use in order to create music on the computer.

There are even free DAW’s out there, so go ahead and pick the one that you want and just roll with it.

The real technical part about producing

So the way that you practice producing, is by literally producing well produced songs that are already out there.

You will pick up so many tips and techniques out there that it’s important that you spend some good quality time practicing creating beats and instrumentals that are already made.

And through the creation of different patterns for your instruments, you will eventually form your own sound and create ART.
