Hey everyone! Today, Let’s talk about something that needs to be talked about, and that is our strength towards our work in our music.
Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the musicians that he wants us to become. Ask God to guide us more towards the music that he would like. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
How does the Lord help us to work hard at our music?
So when I was a child, I didn’t understand strength.
I thought that the strength from our physical self and our spiritual and mental self were things that we as humans always had.
However, there are a few bible verses that speak on behalf of strength.
Let’s look at a few of these verses.
First let’s take a close look at Philipians 4:13, it states, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Now let’s talk about this particular verse for a second and examine in between the lines a little bit.
It states that “I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.”
That would actually imply that ALL things are impossible without Christ.
So if that’s the case, we humans must understand that we cannot so much as be HEALTHY without the help of the Lord at our side.
We cannot breath, we cannot live, we cannot walk, without the help of the Lord.
So with that being said, if we cannot so much as breathe without the help of the Lord, it makes sense that we cannot play the guitar, work at a job, gain intelligence, gain skills, do good things, etc. etc. We literally cannot do anything without the help of the Lord.
And you know when I was a kid, I was told that it’s true, that we cannot do anything without the help of the Lord.
And so, I started to think to myself, “But wait a minute, I can function, I don’t need the help of the Lord.” I get good grades on my own. I don’t need God for that.
However, I was unwise in that sense.
Sure enough I had intelligence, and YES I did fear God, but I refused to acknowledge the fact that it was God who I needed in order to obtain the good grades that I wanted to get.
And that’s actually when my grades started to slip.
That’s when I started receiving bad grades, the time when I failed to acknowledge that it was God who was providing for me, is when I started to fail.
And now I see that if I want good ANYTHING, it requires God.
So now let’s look at our music career or our music skills

So with that being said, we need the help of the Lord to do anything right? Then it is fair to say that we should seek the Lord if we want help with our music career.
And let me ask you this, what is so wrong with asking the Lord to help you with something?
There is nothing wrong.
I mean let me ask you this, what are some things that you want in life?
Do you want a house, a car, a family? Those are good things that the Lord would most definitely bless you with if you really ask him hard enough.
But I mean if all you want is money, lust, fame, and fortune, is that really something that is good?
The answer is no, it’s not good.
The Lord knows the desires of our hearts, better than ourselves. So don’t be scared to confess to the Lord what your most inner thoughts are.
Why do I tell you this?
Well, it’s sort of a confession. I didn’t realize just how desperately we needed the Lord until it was far too late.
I didn’t know that the strength that I already had was actually from the Lord.
And you know, it’s wisdom.
It’s wisdom to know that the Lord is the one that gives strength.
And I see now that the strength that I have ever had to do something, was from the Lord.
Let’s look at another verse.
Psalms 73:26, “My flesh and my heart faileth: But God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.”
You know it’s difficult to understand this when you haven’t experienced it.
But honestly, right now, I am just so happy with the wisdom that I have. The wisdom is that our Lord is our strength.
And it’s true, God is our strength to go out there and do the impossible.
So, go out there and pray to God to give you strength to move mountains, and he will give you strength.
