What is working hard?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all a little something about working hard. 

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to work hard. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this. 

Now back to the show

What is working hard?

So hard work is really one thing, and that is God. 

What happens is that I was just around someone and I find out that this person has problems with their hands. 

I actually was not aware at the fact that even though people have perfectly fine hands that they can still have problems working with them. 

And I went to my mother and told her about it and she said, “Yes, there are physical disabilities that don’t look like it on the outside, but they affect the person deeply.” 

And I was taken back for a few things. 

One, I actually have eczema on my hands and it hurts, it’s not as bad as some people, but it’s still visible sometimes. 

And I thought that if I can work A LOT with my hands that are like that, I thought that anyone could with hands.

And it comes to find out that it’s just not true. 

And so now I have this epiphany that says that I literally can work, not because of my own strength, but because the Lord has literally given me strength to do so. 

I mean, I have eczema and it hurts, but even still I play guitar and I let it shred up my hands perfectly fine and I’m fine with it, I’ve worked in trades, I type at fast speeds, my hands have been blessed and it was God who blessed them. 

And so that’s the reason why I say that working hard is something that God has given.

Because if God so willed, I would not work tomorrow. If it were the will of God, a million different things could happen to me the next minute and I would be subject to it. And I would just have to accept the fact that I am all a part of the plan of God. 

And there are verses in the bible that talk against the sluggard and the one who deals with a slack hand, there are, but like it all had to start with God. 

The Lord puts strength in us to work hard. The Lord puts strength in us to actually work, literally physically work, not just emotionally. 

So if you were to ask me, “German, how can I become a hard worker, I would say pray to God to make you a hard worker because the Lord has strength and he gives and takes away at his disposal.
