My method for making a music career

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all my method for making a music career with God. 

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our lives. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this. 

Now back to the show

My method for making a music career.

So like, there are a lot of ways that you could make a Christian music career. 

However, before you embark on any journey, it’s important to pray to God about it because God might want something different from you. 

God himself could be stopping you from becoming a musician. 

So spend some time in prayer and do your best to seek God first. 

Now the technical aspect

All of the technical advice that I have revolves around God

So you guys might be asking yourself, how do I know if I’m supposed to chase a music career? 

So I’ll put it like this, 

I have had friends who want to practice the guitar at home with their parents, and their parents don’t let them because the guitar causes too much noise. 

So they let them practice for only one hour or 2 hours a day. 

Some parents don’t even let their kids practice the guitar at all. 

I have seen instances where parents do not let their kids practice the guitar and the parents honestly just didn’t want the kids to make noise, so the kids were restricted to no practice. 

However, me personally, my parents ENCOURAGED me to play as much as possible. 

They ENCOURAGED me to pick up as many instruments as possible and to learn as much music as possible. 

So like, this is where God comes in. I actually prayed to God to give me time to practice music, I asked God many times to help me to practice music. 

And when I grew up and I saw those kids whose parents didn’t want them to practice the guitar, I had realized that God did answer my prayers.

God answered my prayers when I asked him to give me time to practice the guitar.

Okay so let’s say that you’ve got time to practice the guitar, now what? Well you still need to have the determination, patience, drive, and strength to do all of the musical feats that you need to do in order to become a great musician. 

And all of those things are GIVEN by God.

So you pray to God for that. 

Now let’s say that you have all those things, in order for the music career to be under the will of God, your parents would have to approve of whatever music journey you want to do.

So let’s say you want to start a music blog, your parents have to approve of that. If you want to do a music career, your parents have to approve of that. 

And EVERYONE knows how parents are towards music careers, why is it that my parents told me that I NEED to do it?? My parents told me that I NEED TO have something in music. 

It is just too much of a coincidence that my parents and my resources and my strength and mind is just too perfect for music, it’s just too great. 

It literally has to be God saying that I need to do these things. 

So now that I have your attention, there are methods that you can get all of these things and have it under the will of God. 

The Lord states in his word Luke 16:10, it states, “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in the much.”

So that has Jesus speaking, what God is saying is that if you want something big, you have to prove to him and everyone else that you can be trusted with something little. 

So if you wanted to be a big recording artist, the step before that is that you need to have been a musician a long time, and the step before that is that you need to have been a beginner at some point, and the first step out of all of these steps is that you needed to have started playing the guitar with whatever guitar you have and play it until you can’t play anymore. 

Or if you’re a singer, you sing until you can’t sing anymore. 

Or whatever it is, you do it until you can’t do it anymore. 

You have to be faithful with little before you’re faithful with a lot. 

It’s that simple. 

And that’s the way that you can get the blessings from God towards your music career, by being faithful with little.

My story

You guys want to hear what guitar I started out with? 

I started out with a First Act Electric.

Do you know what that is? It is a Wal-Mart guitar and my parents got it because they just wanted me to be quiet about the guitar.

I have looked at how much one of those guitars cost, and I think it cost around 50 or 60 bucks. 

But they got it for me, and I played the guitar so much, my teachers were recommending that I change my guitar strings every DAY.

And then the rest is history. 

Ultimately, I was following what God had instructed me and I was praying constantly. Everytime I practiced, I would pray to God to bless my hands in music. I would pray to God to give me strength in the guitar, and my Lord did not disappoint.
