Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all something that I thought I’ve never written about.
Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our lives. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
Where does the strength of the song come from?

So, I thought that it is important to actually make a statement as to where the strength of a song actually comes from.
So let’s look at a few music facts.
The first thing that we should look at is that a lot of pop music has an era where they are famous.
And you might say, “But German, there are pop songs which are anthems that are sung from generation to generation.”
If you’re older, or if you like that kind of music, you might say that yes those songs are sung from generation to generation.
However, they had their hey day where they were all the rage.
But now, those songs are dead. Why is it that they are dead? If the people in those days were dancing and having the time of their lives with those songs and they lifted up so many spirits, why are they dead now?
It’s because without the Lord, everything is dead.
The Lord is the source of life, even in our songs.
That is the reason why there are 2000 year biblical songs that are still being sung today in some churches.
At my church, there are still 400 year old songs being sung and I’ll be honest with you, I still have goosebumps every time I hear it and I have heard them for a while.
And like, that’s not to say that pop music might not be able to achieve similar status, but if you look at even the king of pop or the king of rock’s songs, I mean they are dead now because they didn’t root themselves in a foundation worth being, which is God.
