I see now that the Lord has been good all along

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all something that the Lord has placed in my heart. 

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our lives. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

I see now that the Lord has been good all along.

You know, when I was a kid, I didn’t understand things. 

I didn’t understand the meaning of all the bad things that happened, consequences, I didn’t understand that. 

However, I grew up kind of in a harsh consequences type environment. 

And I saw other kids growing up who didn’t get the same treatment. 

And now that I’m older, I see that the way that I grew up was actually the correct way. It was the correct way and it was actually something that I had prayed about. 

I had prayed to God to make me disciplined and morally sound. 

I had prayed to God to mold me into being a Christian that he wants me to be. 

And sure enough he did so. 

And so now, I’m here and I’m actually reaping the rewards of my prayers. 

I remember once one of my prayers was that God would discipline me himself. I would pray to God to chastise me with his own hands, and sure enough, the Lord did so. 

And I see now that was an excellent prayer. 

I see that, that prayer was excellent in every aspect. 

And I have these mature eyes that see that it was the best that I received all of the punishments that I ever received for it was the will of the Lord that I did receive it. 

Looking back now, I see all the kids that didn’t have the discipline that I have, and I see the big difference. 

And I’m not saying that they’re living awful lives. No, some of them are pretty good at the things that they do.

But I see a difference, a moral difference. A lot of them are very disobedient. 

And honestly, it’s something we should pray about. 

Because the will of the Lord isn’t that anyone should die. The will of God is that we should all go to heaven. 

Let it be the will of God that changes all of us.
