A cool thought that could help the future music generations

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all something that I thought would be like really cool for the future music generations.

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence and pray to God for our future. Because ultimately God is the one who has the future in his hands. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to be confident in him about our future. For God has the future in his hands. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

A cool thought

So i just recently had this idea that I thought should happen everywhere. 

So I know for a fact that there are a lot of musicians in my area. And each one of those musicians are just a treasure trove worth of wisdom and knowledge in the music industry. 

And I was just thinking, “Why can’t these musicians help out the younger generations?”

Because everyone needs help doing things. Whether that be session work, producing, mixing, mastering. 

It’s often difficult to do everything by yourself. 

I mean just mixing alone can actually take quite a deal of time to get down and practice it to the point where you can officially say that yes you know how to mix. 

So like, I know that these musicians need help but why can’t they be more accessible to starting artists? 

The thought 

Have like different companies that are in charge of developing artists. 

And what these companies can do is that they can treat it as a trade. 

The musician can start off being a helper and eventually move their way up into doing more and more things. 

These companies don’t necessarily need to be record labels. 

And the way that they could make their money is either by the work that they have with previous artists that have used their helpers work. In which case it would be royalty money. 

Or by the helpers first album that’s released, they could take similar cuts as a record label. 

It wouldn’t be a record label because record labels help with the distribution and marketing of the artist. Sure they could have artist development as well. But the company that I would have would be something that would focus solely on making a great artist and then having him be in charge of his own music. 

That’s the kind of company that I would say would need to be created.
