A gap that I see in the market

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all something that I think is going on right now in the market.

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to work hard in our music. Ask God to guide us more towards him each and every day. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this. 

Now back to the show

A gap that I see in the market.

So what I recently saw was that there is a huge gap in the market. 

And what do I mean by that? 

I mean there aren’t that many Christian musicians trying to compete in the market of Christian music. 

Like, I have gone and tried to find musicians out there who are also blogging. 

And yes I do find those rare occasions that people are blogging for Christian music, but in reality, there really isn’t that many people out there trying to compete in the Christian indie music market. 

And like, it kind of strikes me down a little bit because this is the Lord that we are serving. 

How can we ignore the Lord when he has given everything to us?

And some people say that Christianity is the largest religion in the free world.

How can it be that Chrisitianity is the largest religion but so few people are deciding to write songs about God?

It just doesn’t make any sense. 

Either we truly are not Christians, or we just say that we’re Christian in order to be accepted by the common man or we say that we’re Christian to appear good. 

It just doesn’t make any sense. 

So, if you’re Christian out there and you are a musician, there is a massive opportunity for Christian musicians to get ahead. 

If we start to write and make content for God that is wholesome and good, then we have the faith that God will bless our hands in music. 

I mean like, there are people out there that make music for the sole vain purpose of making money. 

And they make this music for the sole vain purpose of making money and having luxuries and living a debaucherous lifestyle and they believe wholeheartedly that they can succeed. 

Why is it that we as Christians can’t believe in the good promises that God has for us about Christian music? 

Why can’t we believe that God will provide everything we need and more if we were to make music for him? 

It just doesn’t make sense. 

And the worst part about it is that God is certain. 

The promises of God is certain, his ways are certain, his provisions are certain, his hands are certain, everything about him is certain. 

Why are we so lacking in faith in God when people are out there making vain music and believing with all their heart that they can do it?

We as Christian musicians need to start our paths of making music for the Lord

We need to put our faith in God for God is here for us. 

We need to hear him and trust in the fact that God is not evil and that nothing evil comes from the Lord. 

Trust in him above all else.
