Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all the blueprint to how to launch your Christian music career.
Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us with our music careers. Ask God to help us to honor him with everything that we are. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
The Blueprint for how to launch your Christian music career.
So this comes with a little bit of a caveat.
There is not one way to become a producer or musician or recording artist. Everyone starts by doing something different and ends up doing something completely different too. I have seen great musicians and guitarists start on the piano and then eventually move on to the guitar position because they wanted to play the guitar.
So I can give you this method that I’ve decided to follow and build for myself, but just remember that anything can happen and anything can happen.
So without further ado, here is the blueprint.
Become a professional musician.

This goes without say, but if you want to become a professional musician, then you need to be a professional musician.
Which means that you need to be good at music.
It means that you not only need to be good at music, but you need to excel at music.
Music has to come second nature to you at whatever it is that you do.
Whether that be playing guitar, piano, singing, writing songs, whatever it is that you do, it has to be second nature.
Now, some of you might be saying, “But German, becoming a successful musician is difficult and takes a lot of time, how am I supposed to do that?”
It’s not easy, I know. But in reality, it wasn’t meant to be easy.
So right now, is the best time to really decide for yourself if you really want to pursue this music dream or not.
And to be honest with you, if you start out the music dream with money in mind, I don’t think that you will get very far.
But rather, music should be done because you enjoy listening to music, because you want to perform in front of crowds, because you just want to be a musician.
It shouldn’t be about the money right now, just have fun with it.
The reason why is because this is a long and grueling process that takes effort and dedication and if you are all gung ho about getting the money, you might find it discouraging about the fact that you’re not making millions of dollars by the time you’re 16 years old.
So take your time, Rome wasn’t built in a day, and have fun with it. Later on you’ll get to be in the studio and worry about the money. But it will be a completely different world by then.
After you’ve become a professional musician, then you can worry about getting the fans that you want

At this point in time, you can become a great musician by starting a blog or a YouTube Channel.
Well in reality any social media is fine.
But the key here is consistency and dedication. You have to stay consistent with the content that you put out.
I chose the blog format because I thought that the skills that I would obtain in a blog would transfer over to a job or something and I could use it in a job.
Other people prefer to make and edit videos. Whichever you choose, just make sure that you’re consistent with your videos and content.
And in time, you will succeed in your channels.
Here is a link to learn how to promote music with content.
Decide if you want to stay indie or sign with a label.

By this time, record labels would have seen what you’re all about. By this time, you would’ve gotten the attention of people in the music industry. And you need to decide of what you want to do. You need to decide if you want to sign with a label or stay independent.
Now, the independent route might not be the most glamorous or most lucrative. But it is the most peaceful.
You have to weigh out these options when seeing what kind of career you want to go after.
It’s true, you might not make the same amount of money as a major label artist, but money isn’t the only thing that matters in the world.
I’ve seen horror stories come out from the major labels. And yeah.
So not trying to discourage you from signing from a major label, but just be careful with what you do.
