Don’t rely on money

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all that you don’t need to rely on money. 

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our days. Ask God to  provide for us each and every day. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Don’t rely on money

So what happened is that recently, I was thinking about all of the jobs that I’ve had. 

I was thinking about the hourly jobs and the commission jobs. 

And I started to think to myself that it’s true, what my manager said was true. 

That every job is like a commission based job because every job is performance based. 

I remember my first job that I had, I was washing dishes for Panera Bread. 

And what happened is that I wasn’t doing good at the job and so they cut my hours. 

So in a way, that is performance based. It’s performance based because the fact that I didn’t do good, meant that my hours were cut. 

And I remember in those days, after I had succeeded with my little hours, they gave me more hours in the fall. 

And I couldn’t help but to think to myself, “I guess it makes sense because if I’m not performing up to standard, why would they give me more hours?”

And so I was thinking to myself, “So if I’m having a really bad week, my money drops and I would still need to pay my bills.”

And I can’t rely on this job because it’s always fluctuating.

But then I thought about my commission job.

And I was like, this job is also dependent on me. Because if I decide to put in a whole bunch of hours and really go hard in one week, I could make a lot of money in that time

And I’ve done that in sales. I’ve gone really hard in sales and came out on top. 

But I’ve also been on the short end of sales, where we don’t make any sales and come back with little checks. It stinks to be honest with you. 

So I saw that the bible is true, money does make itself wings and fly away.

And it’s true with whatever you do, it’s not permanent. 

So like, yeah.

I know I have talked a little bit about money on this blog, but in reality, you need to be putting your faith in God above all else. 

Because it is through God that your promises will be fulfilled.
