You know, I was just looking at the state at which the world was at.
And I’ll be honest, I kind of became a little happier.
Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to give us faith in him. Ask God to help us to follow him throughout all of our days. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
Have faith in God
So what happened is that I think 2 years ago, they raised the minimum wage in my state.
But the thing is that I see the employers just find new ways to keep paying kind of the same rate.
I’m not going to say what company, but what happens is that companies won’t give you a 40 hour work week anymore unless you are like a big person in the company.
And the reason why they won’t is so that they keep costs down.
They only allow up to a 30 hour work week.
And I find it disheartening because how is someone supposed to get ahead in life without their job doing the things that they need to do.
And then I thought about God.
I thought to myself, “Wait a second, God is the one who provides.”
I thought to myself, “God is the one who has everything under control. And if anyone needs anything, then they are to ask God for that thing.”
And I started to think to myself, “Why would God allow for this to happen?”
But really it all made sense to me as to why God would allow this to happen.
So God can do all sorts of things to realize that we need him above all other things.
We need him more than we need money, or friends, or houses, or cars.
We need God more than any of those things in our lives.
And What happens is that when God makes these things difficult, understand that no power was given to man unless it was given by God himself.
Therefore, if we see rising house costs and food prices, we are to understand that the powers that made those food and housing costs go up, only had to have come from God first.
There is no other way to put it.
So sometimes I’m on the internet and I see people complaining about the rise of the cost of living.
And I also see how people say that their career path was useless.
However, I can’t really say for sure that we need to complain about it.
The reason why is because God is the one who is in control of the economy and the markets, the food, and houses.
Why would we be of concern when God knows what’s best for us at all times and he can give us anything that we need or want at any given moment.
I think that those people who complain about those rising costs really just don’t understand what God can do for them.
I mean, currently I don’t have a house, I’m still living with my folks, and honestly, I’m working towards getting my own house, but I just know that, that will come by patience and hard work.
But more importantly, it will come with God.
If I just maintain faithful to the Lord and his ways, then the Lord will bless my hands with work and he will bless me financially.
The Lord has said multiple times that we are to not complain about the things in our lives.
And even in Proverbs, which was written by the richest and wisest man that ever lived, said, “He who hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him.”
But God said this knowing that there are people out there who have a desperate NEED for money.
Why would God then say that you can’t be in a hurry to be rich?
It’s because we are to know that God provides and not money.
God even has the power to bless our hands with money.
So don’t be in a constant state of fear with resources or money, it’s not good.
But rather, be in a constant state of fear towards God.
