Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how we as Christians gain secular power.

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our lives. Ask God to give us the power that he wants us to have. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

How do we as Christians gain secular power?

So as Christians before I tell you how to gain secular power, I must put an emphasis that we as Christians aren’t really supposed to want anything unless it’s something Godly.

Like say for example if you want secular power and the reason for gaining that secular power is to just gain more money, that’s not really a good reason as to why you should want secular power.

It’s understandable because everyone would use power to gain money if they could, but it’s not really a good reason as to why you should use your power.

As Christians we should use any power that we obtain for the glorification of God.

Now of course, power doesn’t just come in the form of money and fame.

But power does also come in the form of the ability to do certain things in your life that will change someone’s life or guide them closer to God.

So like say for me for example, Just recently, God gave me the power to invite some friends over to church, and that’s power that’s in good use.

So like, it’s not like we need to be power hungry to gain the things that we want or need.

We actually shouldn’t be power hungry because that’s a misuse of power on it’s own.

The obsession over power is not good either.

But I get it, what are some direct things that we can do to gain power for the glorification of God?

I’ll show you the Godly way to gain power.

First pray about it

It depends on the type of power that you want.

Do you want the type of power to influence government projects or lead people?

Or do you want power to influence people to go to God and chase him?

Or there are a ton of other powers in between all of that.

So like what type of power do you want?

And after you define the type of power that you want, just pray to God about it.

Pray to God and say, “Lord, I pray that you may make me a leader of people. I pray that you may guide me to have the power to glorify your name across all nations.”

You know something along those lines.

Because if we want power for our own vain purposes, God will not give it to us.

Power has to be used for good and not evil.

Afterwards, start to build up your following somehow.

So then in this day and age, power comes to how many engaged followers you have on social media.

If you post up 1 thing and a million people like it, then you know that you’re in the right direction.

But you’re not going to get that million likes all in one day. It takes time to build a loyal engaged following on the internet.

It’s not easy, but it’s completely doable.

Currently, I just counted it, I know that I told you guys that I’ve been blogging for 4 years but I actually counted it like the other day. And I’ve actually been blogging for 3 years and 3 months.

And I just started getting around 500 views a month to my blog.

I’m not saying that I’m chasing power, because what I want to do is to lead people to God.
