Hey guys! Before we get into this blog post, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our lives. Ask God to guide us more towards him each and every day. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

I will put all of my faith in God

Hey everyone! So today, I had a big revelation.

And it’s that we cannot live on money.

We cannot put our faith on money.

It’s because one event happens and boom that money is gone.

We have to put our faith in God.

I remember I was reading about rich people in the bible.

And yes there were some good rich people in the bible, but there were also some bad rich people.

And what I’m trying to get at is, we cannot put our faith in riches. For one day, those riches will fade away.

What I saw one of these days.

I’m not trying to put anyone down.

But one of these days, I saw a study done on two individual people.

One were the wealthy and the other, not so wealthy.

And what happened is that they asked these wealthy people if they ever had to worry about money or paying the bills, or wondering where their next meal was going to come from.

And they all of course said that they had never worried about those things.

And then, there were a group of poor people and they were asked the same questions.

And of course the poor said that they did have to worry about those things.

But I looked at it and said, “That’s not right.”

It’s not right for the rich to confide in their riches because what happens if one day they get fired? What happens if one day, their house burns down? What happens if one day, they get cancer?

Other than the house, no amount of money can heal you from cancer. No amount of money can give you security or peace.

And I couldn’t help but to feel sorry for those rich because their riches are one day going to end.

And then what?

And I’m not trying to bash any group of people. I’m not trying to bash anyone who is rich.

Because the bible also speaks negatively about the poor at times.

The bible states that the slothful man is poor. He who is haste to gain riches has an evil eye. There are a lot of things that speak negatively about wanting to get rich quick and also about being poor.

And even in the bible, it states that poverty can separate a man from God.

And we see that nowadays don’t we?

We see that there are people who are both rich and poor and who are not Godly.

There are people who are both rich and poor and do not want God at all.

And so like it shows you that people of all walks of life do not want God.

But there’s something to be said about all of this.

Galatians 2:10 has Paul saying that we are to remember the poor.

And obviously there are various verses in the bible that talk about serving the poor.

So like it goes to show that we are to honor the Lord by helping the poor, not hurting them.

Why is all of this important?

It’s because for the longest time, I thought that the only thing that I needed was money.

But now that I’m older, I see now that God is truly the one that I need.

And it’s not just because of the money, it’s because he provides everything that we have.

I honestly didn’t see it before.

I just saw the shallow things that money disguised itself to provide.

When in reality, it was God who was providing all along.

Like, who gives you the strength to stay in your job that provides you 100,000 dollars a year? Who is the one who gave you the intelligence to do the work that you do? Who was the one who blessed your hands with work? Who was the one who provided you that job?

It wasn’t you, it was God.

Understand that God provided everything from the start, he was just being good to you all along.

So now what? If you’re poor, SERIOUSLY, look at the bible for answers because I found wisdom in the bible about money that no man has.

I found intelligence an strength and wisdom in the bible that no man has about money.

Read proverbs, the entire thing, and you will be astounded with the wisdom in there.

If you’re rich, good for you but don’t forget to help the poor brother because that is the will of God.
