I would want to talk to my uncle when he was younger

The Lord has blessed me with a story that actually astounded me.

I had an uncle who used to not love God.

Actually he would write articles against God. 

But then, his life was changed and he accredits the Lord for the change. 

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our lives. Ask God to guide us more towards him each day. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this. 

Now back to the show

My uncle

So what you guys should know is that my family actually comes from a long line of preachers. 

And if we didn’t start with being a preacher we did something with the church. 

And what happened was that my uncle actually didn’t believe in God. 

And my uncle is actually much older than I am. 

He is around 60 and I’m around 27.

And what happened was that he was actually writing against God in my home country. 

He wrote against God because of the political side that he decided to take. 

Now I’m not going to share with you his story because it is quite personal. 

But my uncle turned his life to God in a moment of despair. 

My uncle was at a point of desperation in his life and he cried unto the Lord, and the Lord answered. 

I would ask him all sorts of questions.

When he turned his life to God, What was he planning on doing next? 

I know what he eventually did. 

He eventually went and became a preacher himself. 

He actually taught me my first lessons on being a Christian. 

He taught me about salvation and holiness. 

He eventually became a business owner too. 

But all of that took effort and time. 

And I remember him saying words of wisdom to me as a kid. 

He kept saying, “The Lord is our strength. The Lord is the one who gives us good things.”

I remember reading the bible verses that he showed me.

I remember hearing his story. 

It was quite terrible. 

I wouldn’t want to share it with people unless he gave me permission to say it. 

But wow what a testimony it would be. 

I hope to God I can share it with you guys one day, because you would love it.
