Tell me what you guys think

Hey guys, so recently, I’ve gotten into something and I don’t know what to think of it. 

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to guide us more towards him each day. Ask God to bless our hands with work and to help us to honor him each day. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

So what happened is that I’m a musician. 

But I’m more of a Christian than a musician. 

And I’ll be honest, I was reading some bible verses that made me second think this whole blog thing. 

So let’s back track a little bit. 

A week or two ago, I posted up that I was going to write solely about God.

And that’s great and all, however, I think it would be great if it was a separate blog on it’s own. 

The reason why is because there were verses in the bible that talk about missionary work and also earthly work. 

And how the first preachers of the gospel actually worked with their own hands and preached without charging anyone. 

And actually they shunned and ashamed people who would take money from doing the good work of the Lord because the word of the Lord should be free. 

And so, if I’m honest, I started this blog to honor God, but I hadn’t read these verses. 

I hadn’t read that even though tithes can be a good thing, they are not to be used to get rich. 

And rather, to confide in God for the riches in heaven and earth. 

And so what happened is that I started this blog to honor God with words, but I thought that I could also make money along the way. 

And right now. Even though that’s a good task, it’s misguided in my opinion. 

And so now, I have a feeling to talk about music. 

And I’ll be honest I will still talk about God in this blog because I believe that no matter where I go, I need to be sharing the message of the gospel wherever and with whoever. 

But I will be putting in more blog posts about music again because this blog is about a musician’s journey with God. 

So like, I’ll put it like this, you know how when you go to work, you carry the truth of Jesus in your heart don’t you? 

And you share it with people don’t you? 

Yes this is true, we share these things with people but when we’re at work we also focus on work because God gave us the work and we should honor God by focusing on the work.

And it’s not sin to actually focus on the work and not on God at the moment because if you’re not focused on the work, then you are sinning against God. 

Because God does say that with all things you are to work diligently and work as if though you are working for the Lord. 

But I digress. 

So the same concept is on this blog. 

This blog is my work place, but I still share the gospel with people all over the world. Through this blog. 

I don’t know though, this needs prayers to be honest with you. 

Part of me wants to start a completely different blog and talk about completely God in that blog. 

Other parts of me doesn’t want to do that. 

The reason why I don’t want to do that is because this blog has taken me years to complete. 

It has taken me a long time to actually get it running and like it’s not easy. 

I can’t say for sure that I will succeed in the next blog. 

The reason why I would do it is because people need to hear about the word of the Lord. 

I would be more than willing to share the gospel with people but I don’t know. It would take doing something that is more than me. 

I’m sure that whatever it is that I decide on what will happen next, the Lord will be my answer, I’m sure of it.
