Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some music marketing secrets. Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence.

So what happens is that it actually takes a lot to actually make a music career. I’m trying to say that you need to have spent a lot of time in the trenches before you went out and started to fight hard for your music career. 

It’s very similar to any other job out there. 

It’s the same way with a trade or with being a doctor or a lawyer. 

I mean Lawyers have to spend through 8 years of school in order to actually become a lawyer. 

And during that time, do you know what they are?

They are just another broke college student. 

They are broke college students trying to make ends meet. 

It’s the same with a trade.

At first everyone in a trade starts off as a helper, and then they move on to doing their own jobs and then eventually they become a journeyman. 

It’s very similar to everything that there is in life. 

You really need to have spent a significant amount of time developing the skills needed in order to actually provide something useful for someone. 

So here are the secrets that you need in order to be successful at the music life. 

Be patient

I think that the most famous person for being an indie musician is Chance the rapper. 

Chance has actually had a lot of success being an independent musician. 

Actually he didn’t even charge for his music all the way until after he got signed to a major label. 

And in an interview with a famous indie magazine, he literally just put it plain simple to everyone, “Just be patient with yourself.” 

Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither was your music career. So be patient with yourself

Secret 2 have a hard working ethic

It’s impossible to get anything in life without the hard work that you need to put in to get what you need. 

Everything requires hard work, So don’t get scared to stay up for late nights, and wake up really early. 

Because all of those late nights are going to pay off eventually. 

Secret 3 always pray

Always be praying to God.

For we can have a million amazing plans for our lives, but none of them can come true if it’s not for God. 

If we have God in our lives, then we can be rest assured that Our plans will honor him in everything.
