What did I do to become great at guitar?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some of the secrets that I do in order to become great at guitar.

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to become the musicians that we are supposed to become. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this. 

Now back to the show

What did I do in order to become great at guitar?

So I remember that the work that I did was a lot of work, and I will share some of that work right here in this blog post.

However, I will say that the number one thing that I did in order to become great at guitar, was that I prayed to God to help me to become great at guitar. 

I kept on praying to God day and night that I would become a great guitarist. 

And sure enough with time, the Lord made me just that. 

Now the work that I did in order to become a great guitarist

So what I did as a guitarist was that I just practiced a whole bunch of songs. 

I just went out and I played the most difficult songs that I could find.

Some of them I never finished learning, but I literally just went out and I challenged myself every day. 

I didn’t really start with easy songs, I remember I did play some easy songs. 

But I was more interested in playing something worth remembering.

So I went out and I just found the most difficult songs that I could find and I just played them. 

A lot of those songs aren’t Christian so I don’t know if I would recommend everyone to do that.

But I found this out later on in life that you can get pretty fast and excellent without the need of those songs that I’m talking about. 

If you just focus on technique and playing standards, you will be an excellent guitarist on your own. 

But I played the most difficult songs that I could find and I worked on technique and dexterity. 

And sure enough, the Lord strengthened my hands and I became a great guitarist. 

I will say that ultimately

Ultimately, the number one thing that anyone can do to become a great guitarist is pray to God to help you because that’s actually the one constant that will change your life.
