How I developed my faith into believing in God?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all how I developed my faith into believing in God. 

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to guide us more towards him each day. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this. 

Now back to the show

How I developed my faith into believing in God?

So it was no easy journey. 

But it all starts with a leap of faith. 

And I’m not telling you to go jump off a building and expect the angels of God to catch you type faith. 

I mean like, you have to put your faith into God because you know that God is here. 

So here is some stone cold reality and truth that the world doesn’t want you to know. 

God is alive and he is here. 

And the thing about it is that we have to put all of our faith into God and know that nothing is impossible for him.

Because certainly there is nothing too impossible for God. 

I mean in the Bible many times does it show amazing feats of strength, courage, impossible odds, etc. etc. 

Samson was Given his strength, Fire was rained down from heaven 2 times, A woman gave birth to a child while being a virgin. 

Yes all of these things were real and we have science to prove that some of these things did indeed happen. 

Say for example Noah’s ark. 

I went to college.

and it was a secular college, one where God was not taught in that college. 

And what happened was that even they say that there was a brief moment in time where the entire world was covered in water. 

The reason why they say that is because in the mountain tops, there are fishes and remains of fishes on those mountain tops. 

And they claim that even a cataclismic event happened that had done that. 

Even the story of Samson was shared in that class. 

and we were studying Samson in that history class that was not Christian. 

So like, there is evidence that these things did indeed happen. 

But it wasn’t the proof that God is real that I needed in order to convince myself that yes God is real. 

Because to be honest with you, the Lord had already proven to me that he was real by answering my prayers many times. 

It wasn’t the science. 

Because I saw many scientific and historical proofs that did not cause me to have faith in God. 

And even though all of this proof was condemning, I still couldn’t believe in God. 

And it was then that my pastor said to me this, “German, you could have all of the science in the world that proves that God is real, and yet if your heart hasn’t been changed, then you won’t believe in him.” 

So you know what I did? 

I started to pray to God to change my heart. 

I prayed to God to give me faith and to strengthen my faith in him. 

You know why? Because the Bible also teaches us that we cannot do anything good on our own. 

Therefore if we cannot do anything good on our own, then that means that we cannot have faith in God on our own. 

We have to pray to God to give us faith. 

So I started to pray to God to give me faith, and sure enough he did. 

So therefore, I tell you right now, go and pray to God to give you faith in him.

Ask him to put faith in you as big as mountains. 

Ask God to give you faith in him that is ever expanding. 

And pray this prayer many times. 

And you will know that when you have faith in God, it was just another time that God answered your prayers. 

This way, you will have faith in him.
