Some secrets about earning money as a musician?

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some secrets on earning money as a musician.

Before we get started, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to honor him through all that we do. Ask God to strengthen our hands at work. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

How to start earning money as a musician?

So there goes a lot to say about earning money in general. 

And I know that there are a lot of self-proclaimed gurus out there who claim that they have the right answers. 

But in reality, they don’t have the answers like God does. 

There are a lot of teachers out there that teach on how to earn money and make lots of it too.

And to be honest with you, the best pieces of advice that I have seen on the internet given by some of the most successful people in the world, 

I’ll be honest, it came from the Bible. 

I mean if you go on the financial gurus websites and YouTube channels and videos, they all say the same thing that the Bible says about money. 

I’ll give you a few examples. 

There is a guy on YouTube who used to ADVERTISE with this motto, “The more you learn, the more you earn.” Some of you guys know this guy as Ty Cruz. 

And he was the one you would see who he would be showing off his Lamborghini in Beverly Hills. 

Now hear what the Bible says about Wisdom and intelligence. 

Proverbs 3:13-16 KJV states, “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine Gold. She is more precious than rubies. And all the things that thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand and in her left riches and honor.” 

And that’s just one person who has said the same thing that the Bible says. 

But if you go on financial gurus websites, they all say the same thing. 

Here is another example.

Have you ever heard someone say be patient with your money? 

Well here is what the Bible says about being patient with your money.

Proverbs 28:20 KJV states, “A faithful man shall abound in blessings, But he who hastens to be rich shall not be innocent.” 

That word hastens, we all know what that means, it means he who wants to get money FAST, shall not be innocent. 

That literally implies that it is sin to be rich quick.

Therefore, we know again that man has finally caught up to what the Bible says about money even though the Bible was written thousands of years ago. 

Now this last one, the world doesn’t teach because it hasn’t caught up to the Bible yet, HOWEVER, I see it true in EVERY DAY life. 

And if you really ask yourself, is this true? Look at all the careers in your life and decide for yourself if you really can make a lot of money in those fields. 

But this is what the Bible says, Proverbs 14:23 KJV states, “In all labour there is profit, but the mere talk of lips tendeth only to penury.” 

This literally means that you can make money in ANYTHING that you do.

That could be writing. Isn’t there a billionaire who is an author?

Or a musician, Aren’t there Billionaires that are musicians?

Or how about Janitorial services? 

Yes you can make money being a janitor. 

I personally knew a janitor that made 10,000 a month being the head of custodial services for a company. 

Can you make money in construction? Cutting grass? Art? Basket weaving? Teaching? 

Even being a soldier, which has long been a topic where people automatically classify as a poor mans job, you have always been able to make a lot of money by being a soldier. 

Even today, you can make a lot of money being a soldier. 

It’s called Private Military Contractors. 

A foot soldier in the PMCs make 160,000 to 300,000 dollars a year.

The bible is true.

This means that the word of God is alive. 

And that God is still alive. 

Now what does all of this have to do with making money as a Christian musician?

The thing with all of this, is that yes you can make money as a musician and as a Christian musician too. 

You can make a lot of money as a Christian musician.

And I know I’m going against the grain here when I say this, but I believe that with the word of God and the promise of God, there can be a Christian musician who becomes a billionaire. 

There never in history has ever been one, only millionaires. 

But I believe in the promise of God. 

So you Christian musician, Go aspire and dream big, and don’t let the people of this world try and tell you that you cannot make a living off of Christian music. 

You know why?

Because the one who never lies and is always right has said that you can.
