Strong habits that musicians do every day.

Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some things that musicians are supposed to do every day. 

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence. 

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to guide us more towards him each day of our lives. Ask God to strengthen our hands to work hard at music. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this. 

Now back to the show

Strong habits that musicians do every day. 

So really there are a lot of things that musicians should be doing every day to keep their musicianship alive and active every day. 

I know it seems like a lot having to do some of these things every day. 

But to be honest with you, if you commit to these things, they become easier over time. 

So without further ado, let’s talk about some of these things. 

Practice their instrument every day. 

I don’t care what you do, whether that’s playing the guitar or piano or voice, you need to be practicing your instruments every day. 

Well maybe I should take that back. 

You’re supposed to practice every day when you first start out, but I know for a guitarist after a hile of playing really fast, you’re supposed to take breaks every other day because you develop muscles in your fingers that need to take breaks. 

But for the most part, you need to be practicing every day. 

But it doesn’t just have to be practicing their instrument every day. 

It could be working on a new music skill that you don’t have quite down yet. 

It could be listening to music in the mixing space, 

\ It could be producing a new song that’s out and hot. 

Whatever it is, you need to be out doing something musical each day. 

You should be writing every day.

So there has been a rise in the need for the producer/songwriter. 

And a part of being a songwriter, you need to be writing. 

Now those forms of writing could be in a journal, it could be actual songwriting, or it could be literally writing in a blog article every day. 

Now when you write, it actually brings a lot to the table because it’s difficult to find a musician who can do it all. 

And bringing in that dynamic to the table will do a lot for your songwriting sessions that you’re going to have. 

Never forget that the writers are the ones who rule the world. 

That’s a phrase that’s passed along throughout people. 

Lastly, you should be praying to God

The last habit that you should make for yourself is that you should be praying to God to help you succeed. 

What happens is that there are a lot of different things that can stop you from making your music career come true. 

But if you pray to God to guide you and make your paths straight, then you will make it through. 

The Lord is the one who is strong enough to change our future. 

For we cannot do anything about the future.
