Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all some answers to the questions that I think are burning within you guys.
Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to guide us more towards him each day. Ask God to help us to follow him throughout all of our days. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
Answering FAQs from the internet.
So what I did was I looked at some of the most asked question towards musicians and Christians that are on the internet (And when I say the internet, I mean Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, Google, etc. etc.) and I made a list of the questions that I think the world would ask because of all the achievements that I’ve done in my life.
So these aren’t questions that I have been asked personally, but rather these are questions that I picked from the internet that musicians should be able to answer and any good musician will answer it.
So without further ado, let’s get into it.
What made you want to start music?
I wanted to start music because music was so appealing to me.
I loved music more than anything that there was because it was the greatest feeling listening to a song. Greater than making money, greater than having fame and fortune, it was greater. No where near greater than God, but it was greater.
When was the point in life where you said that you were going to make music your career?
To be honest with you, I knew that music was my thing late in my High School music career.
What happens is that I won the most outstanding music student award at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.
And when they read the accomplishments that I did in music, the entire audience was shocked.
They were all yelling and saying things like that’s impossible.
And that’s when I knew that God had made me an excellent musician.
And it was God’s will that I become the excellent musician that I am today.
How did you continue your music career after high school?
I tried to get into college for music, but in reality, I was more interested in actually becoming a rockstar.
The college would’ve helped, but I wanted to be an artist.
So I got some certifications in Mixing music and in Social media management to help share the message that I wanted to share.
Music is an ever-learning thing. You’re always learning new things in music.
What is your marketing plan in music?
My plan right now is to create as much content as possible on my blog and continue to grow my Christian music blog.Of course I would get nowhere if it wasn’t for God. So continuing in prayer and chasing after God is my priority.
After I have God on my side, then I work hard like there’s no tomorrow.
What is your songwriting process?
I write the chords first and then the lyrics and melody.
It’s simple yet effective.
Afterwards I produce the drum tracks on the DAW and the rest of the song such as synthesizers and additional instruments.
Afterwards it goes into the mix and then master.
What is the most important thing in your life? God or music?
It is without a doubt and with all fulfillment in my heart that it is God.
God is the reason why I’m doing this music.
God is the reason why I am who I am.
He is helping me to create something really good and it is him alone who is doing this.
