Hey everyone! So today, I’m going to share with you all the true purpose of politics.

Before we get into it, let’s have our moment of silence.

At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to give us strength to be holy. Ask God to give us the power to fulfill his will everywhere we go. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.

Now back to the show

So yesterday

So Yesterday, I wrote a blog post about what I would do if I were president of the United States.

And what happens is that while I was writing this blog post, I was actually meditating as to what is the true reason for the power that we are given.

Whether that be through politics or music or influence, what is the true purpose of this power?

And the Lord actually answered this to me long time ago.

The true reason for this power is to further the kingdom of God.

Now what exactly does that entail?

In the blog post that I wrote yesterday, I said that it means to give to the poor and help the homeless.

But it means so much more than that.

It means that we are to use the power to create churches, lead people into holiness, lead everyone including the people that you don’t like.

But we must maintain righteousness about it.

We must act in a holy manner about it.

It’s not like we can abandon our laws altogether for the sake of bettering a community.

So what happens is that I believe right now that I would make a good president.

Because I would assign power to the right people to create a more holy nation.

And I wouldn’t act out of selfish reasons for everything would be covered.

That’s how I feel right now.

But if I’m honest, I don’t really know how I would act given that power or even what it would take to get that kind of power.

I know for a fact that the Lord has his Christians in government working and striving to create a more holy nation.

I know that not every politician is evil and that there are holy politicians out there.

But I wonder about myself, would I change if I were in that position?

Would I become so ambitious about getting to the position that I want to get to that I would forsake my own God? God forbid.

But I know that all of this just requires prayer.

If I were to become president or any office of government, it would require prayer to God to keep me with him.

I would have to ask God to give me strength to keep me with him so that I will live holy.

It’s not impossible, my Lord has done more impossible things than assign someone in office.

But it will be difficult.

For my Lord’s ways are perfect.

The Lord is good though, may he live forever.
