***Hey guys! just letting you know that I will receive monetary compensation for the goods and services offered on this blog.***
Hey everyone! So today, I‘m going to share with you all the challenges that you will face as a Christian musician.
Before we get into it, let‘s have our moment of silence.
At this time, I would like all of us to take a moment of silence and pray to God to help us to follow him throughout all of our lives. Ask God to put his spirit in ourselves every single day. Take a minimum of 5 minutes and pray for this.
Now back to the show
Hey guys! Be sure to check out my song that’s out now on all major streaming platforms. The song is called Peace in your heart. It’s out now. Here are the QR Codes to my song for Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube music. But it’s out on all major streaming platforms. I did everything in this song. From the guitars to the mixing I did it all. Hope you like it

The challenges
So what happens is that there are actually challenges that Christian musicians face that honestly is bigger than the secular musicians challenges.
Not only do you have to battle through the regular challenges that musicians face of finding gigs and people who will support your music, but you also have spiritual challenges that are not that present as a secular musician.
As a secular musician, you will often have to write songs about secular concepts that can be easy to write but not Godly at all.
A lot of themes that show up in secular music are concepts that are not Godly at all.
And though that is easy to write, it‘s not something pleasing to the Lord.
As a Christian musician, you have to write about something that‘s actually the opposite of what you really want to write about, which is God and holiness and the Holy Spirit.
And there is actually a reason why I say that you don‘t want to write it.
I‘m not speaking about you specifically I‘m speaking about mankind in general.
It‘s because our sin nature doesn‘t want to write about holy things.
If it‘s good, it‘s probably the last thing that‘s on our brains.
And as Christian musicians, we often have to write about something that honestly, is difficult to write about because God is so vast and ever expanding. God is infinite and holy and good, which on our own we are not those things.
On our own we are not good.
On our own we are not holy.
But with the help of the Lord we can become those things.
Which is the first challenge that us as Christian musicians will face.
Challenge 2 money
Money, money, money the human mind thinks that we can‘t live without money.
Ahh yes though money has it‘s usefulness, it‘s not what sustains us.
For the Bible says, Men shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
This is saying that we as humans live on God not on money.
Though money is great to have and God can bless us with money, that‘s not what sustains us. It is God.
Which is something that us as humans cannot see quite clearly all the time.
There is actually something strange about this concept.
Because I have actually seen the preachers in my life make a lot of money just locally.
And yet, we say that we cannot make money doing Christian music when people say that Christian music is so big.
Christian music is big and people are always looking to worship God through song.
Therefore, submit your life to the word of God and God will give you strength to make your Christian music come true.
But that’s why these challenges are good
Even though some of these challenges seem like they are all against us, we must remember that even in pain, God is good.
And actually sometimes pain brings forth good things.
Pain can bring forth humility and Godliness.
So yes even though these challenges hurt, the Lord is perfect even unto death.
