Work, work, work, how much work is enough?

Hey everyone! So today, I wanted to share a little something about work. Why it‘s so important to work as hard as you can and why it‘s important to rest too.

Why work?

Working is essential to the Christian. 

By working, we are showing our commitment to God because God loves a hard worker. 

And after all, we should always be doing things that please God.

So what level of work do you want to be known for by God? 

Is it the best possible work that you‘ve ever done?

Or sub par work that gets you by enough?

I personally choose the former. 

I‘m actually just realizing myself what it means to be a hardworker. 

What happens is that my mom actually works close to 70 hours a week and I call that hard work. 

My dad does something similar. 

But patience, patience also is required if you want a lot of money. And right now I‘m still going through the patience aspect of life. 

You have to give it your all otherwise it‘s like saying that you‘re not trusting in God enough. 

Why rest?

You rest because that is holy as well. 

God afterall even designed a day to rest and even a few weeks to rest.

God designed it so that we could enjoy our labor and not live life just working.

Because God saw that it was vain for man to just work and not enjoy his labor. 

So be thrilled because not only are you supposed to work hard, but you‘re also supposed to play hard. 

Because God wants you to be happy and enjoy your life too. 

Of course when you enjoy your life it should be within the will of God, just putting that out there.
