Hey everyone, so today, I’m going to share with you all how God is the one savior in my life both on the musical spectrum and off.

Well today, I’m going to share with you all how God saves my music career each day.

Let’s get started

At the beginning

When I first started my music career, I was actually 11 years old.

I remember I had asked my parents for a guitar, an electric guitar if you want to be specific.

And I remember that when I asked them for the guitar, they just said no.

And I remember just feeling like this feeling of failure.

Like as if though the only thing that I wanted to do was just done and I had to move on.

So I said to myself, “No! I know who knows me better than my parents. I know who is here for me more than my parents. And that is God! God is here for me more than my parents, God knows me better than my parents. And if I pray to God earnestly, He will provide a guitar for me.”

And I remember that that Christmas, my parents changed their minds about the guitar, and they bought me an electric guitar.

And I remember that Christmas I was just so thrilled to finally be playing an electric guitar.

And I didn’t care the fact that it was a first act guitar, it was a guitar that I played my heart out.

For those of you that might not know too much about guitars, a First Act guitar is a Wal-Mart guitar.

It’s a real guitar, but it’s Wal-mart’s guitar that they came out with.

It works and is a real guitar, but it’s not a named brand guitar that you would get at guitar center.

And so, I played the First Act guitar until I slept every single day.

And sometimes I would wake up early to play guitar before school.

And I remember thinking to myself, “The Lord was the one who provided a guitar for me.”

The Lord did provide a guitar for me.

And I remember saying, “It’s God’s will that I play the guitar.”

And so I started praying to God even more.

But it was strange because I would pray each time I practiced the guitar.

And I would pray the same prayer, I would pray, “Lord, you are perfect, and beautiful, and righteous in all your decisions, Lord I know this music takes patience, hard work, persistence, and endurance, and I have none of those things, but I ask that you may give them to me. Make me a great musician, and I will use it for you.”

And I remember that I would make that prayer every time I practiced the guitar.

And just know that God made me a great musician.

So on top of the fact that God gave me the guitar, he also gave me piano skills, bass guitar skills, singing and rapping skills, and an understanding of music so deep that it competes with major label music.

For those of you that don’t know this about my music, the first song that I ever wrote, was almost put on the radio.

I remember getting the email from the radio promoter and he said, “we ran some tests for your music and we found that we give it a four star out of four star rating. You need to promote this music on college radios and get it heard.”

I didn’t go through with it, because they also asked me for things that I didn’t have, which was a social media following, and a YouTube channel and also some money.

But they kept on saying that they were willing to work with me with the money. This was when I was 19.

Now, I’m gaining a social media following, and this blog is helping me so much.

And this blog, is another thing that God helped me with.

I saw that a blog was what I needed in order to start living off of my music, So again I prayed to God, “God, help me with my blog, help me to make this blog successful, and it will be yours.”

Sure enough 3 and a half years later, this Christian music blog is growing! At a steady pace, but it’s growing.

And it’s the Lord who did it all.

The Lord was the one who gave me strength to make it through all of the difficulties in life.

The Lord was the one who gave me strength to get through all of the tough times that I ever had.

It was God who provided for me all the way.
