Hey guys! So today, I’m going to share with you all some music career goals that I think everyone should aim for.

Let’s get started

What I think is essential for the musician

I think that it is essential for every musician to be able to live off of their music.

And when I say to live off of your music, I mean to be able to provide food, clothes, houses, cars, and even a vacation for you and your family.

If you have a wife and kids and wish to support them through music as well, that is fine as well.

And it doesn’t matter how many kids you have, you are still supposed to be able to support them and all of their needs and wants through music.

I know that sounds like a tall order to complete, but it’s not impossible.

There have been many musicians who have done more than that.

And I know that I have already said this in my past post about music career goals, but I wanted to explain myself a little further.

If you want to live off of your music, it takes a lot of work in order to do it.

And God can help you to do it.

I know music is difficult, but so is every other career that you were to try and accomplish in life.

I mean doctors have to complete around 10 years of school and work before they can be called a doctor.

So like, it just makes sense that God would make the music career more difficult because it’s something that you can start young, but it would take a lifetime to achieve.

Always remember that God has the ability to help you to accomplish your music goals and career choices.

Goal 2 sell one thousand albums

I think if you sell more than 20 million albums worldwide, you would be in the top 100 best selling recording artists of all time.

So don’t fret at the fact that it’s super hard to sell your music because in all honesty, EVERYONE KNOWS THAT.

But I mean if you sell one thousand albums and you sell it at 10 dollars per album, then you have essentially made 10,000 dollars from your album sales.

And that’s not that bad.

Especially in this day and age because soundscan is in a slump, I mean it would look really impressive on an EPK if you were to say that your music sold 1,000 albums.

Goal 3 receive more than 10,000 views to your music blog in a month or 100,000 views to your YouTube channel in one month.

It goes without say, but having influence on a blog or a YouTube channel does help a lot when making money through your music.

On top of the fact that your clientele loves the music that you put out, they also want to hear a message that moves them to listen to your music more.

Say for example me. I love God more than anything. And as a matter of fact, I made this blog to glorify him above myself and share the gospel through music.

And my main message is to glorify him and share the gospel with the rest of the world.

That is my message to the world.

There is no greater purpose for me.

And I am happy about that.

So bring out your message to the world and share the things that you want to share that are important to you. You could also talk about your personal life and self endeavors, but of course this is a Christian blog, so I would always recommend everyone to focus their efforts on God.
